Bausch Fleximeter Strips for determining the vertical dimension

Bausch Fleximeter Strips are used to determine the vertical dimension, occlusal splints as well as preparation distances. The distance between the incisors can be measured with a simple test. The fleximeter is inserted in the area of the molars and the distance is measured when biting down. Several can also be placed on top of each other to determine the optimum height. Bausch fleximeters are available in thicknesses of 1.0 1.5 and 2.0 mm.

Fleximeter strips are flexible gauges in three different thicknesses for measuring the preparation height when milling teeth for restorations (e.g. crowns, bridges or double crowns). The thicknesses of the fleximeter strips of 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm can also be used to increase the vertical dimension (bite height) in a defined manner. The material is a special silicone that can be sterilized up to 200°C.
A color layer can be applied to Fleximeter Strips with Arti-Spot or Arti-Spray. When checking the preparation height, one thus has a practical indicator that can detect a preparation height that is too low by means of the color marking.

Advantages of Bausch Fleximeter Strips

  • Choose the correct vertical dimension
  • Bausch Fleximeter in 3 heights
  • Vertical dimension Low, Medium or High
  • Recyclable through sterilization

Instructions

Fleximeter strips are used to specify the preparation distances or the preparation height when preparing teeth for restorations and to determine the material thickness for occlusal splints for defined bite elevation.
Wet with liquid contact colors such as Arti-Spot or occlusion sprays Arti-Spray for marking contact points at defined distances. Fleximeter strips can be used individually or in pairs. Fleximeter strips can be used both by the dentist in the patient’s mouth or on models and by the dental technician in the laboratory.
